Marvin Morgan

Marvin started playing drums at the age of six, and as a result was able to make the marching band in middle school, and also the concert band and jazz band. While attending Whitehaven High School, Marvin studied music theory and was the drummer for the jazz band. After graduating high school, he entered the US Navy and continued drumming in the All Navy Band. After completion of the military, he landed a percussion instructor position at the Stax Music Academy, where he is currently teaching. His passion for teaching continues as he teaches personal lessons here at Lane Music.
