The Cello

The Cello is a bowed stringed instrument and is known as the second largest bowed instrument in the modern symphony orchestra. The Cello consists of four strings tuned to C-G-D-A. Sound is produced from the Cello by the player drawing a bow across the strings. The player then positions their finger on the finger board and can change the pitch of the Cello by moving up or down the finger board. The Cello is available in all different sizes for young kids to adult, sizes range from 1/4 to 4/4
