The Violin

The Violin is the smallest and highest pitched stringed instrument. The Violin usually has four strings typically tuned in perfect fifths. Sound is produced from the violin by the player drawing a bow across the strings. The player then positions their finger on the finger board and can change the pitch of the violin by moving up or down the finger board. The range of a violin is from the G (Below Middle C) to the Highest C on the Piano. The violin is available in all different sizes for young kids to adult, sizes range from 1/16 to 4/4.
